Arbour Lake and Harvest Hills are two different kinds of lake communities Northwest Calgary. Arbour Lake offers a beach with swimming, boating and fishing. The lake in Harvest Hills offers boating and beauty. Both communities enjoy lake skating in the winter. Note: The Calgary Real Estate Board's MLS zone system includes any northern property west of Deerfoot Trail as Zone A (northwest). In the city Centre Street is the usual northeast/west division. Since Deerfoot Trail is east of Centre Street some Northeast communities are included in Zone A (northwest). Therefore communities like Coventry Hills, Harvest Hills, Renfrew and Bridgeland will show up in Zone A Calgary searches even though they are located in the northeast.
