Coventry Hills is located to the north of Country Hills Boulevard, with access via Coventry Boulevard, about 1 kilometre west of Deerfoot Trail. The neighbourhood is not only close to the airport and to the major highway to the north, Country Hills Boulevard also gives it fast access to the Trans-Canada Highway to Banff.
A future LRT extension for Coventry Hills is also planned and easy access to Deerfoot Tr. and the Stoney Tr. extension ensures quick commute times for downtown workers.
Schools
Public board pupils are bused to Balmoral Junior High (on 16th Avenue N.W.) and John G. Diefenbaker High (in Huntington). Public Board elementary students now attend the new Coventry Hills Elementary school. Separate board students are bused to St. Margaret Elementary/ Junior High on 4th Street N.W. (in Collingwood) and St. Francis High on Northmount Drive.

Shopping There is neighbourhood shopping at the Coventry Court strip mall on the corner of Coventry Drive and Country Hills Town Centre. Country Hills Town Centre, on the north side of Country Hills Boulevard has a multitude of stores, complete with Silver City, a multi-theatre movie complex.
Recreation
There are several ball diamonds and soccer pitches. Coventry Hills is also connected to the east-west pathway system for runners and cyclists.
The location also offers superior access to the nearly 200,000-sq.-ft. Cardel Place, which boasts a fitness centre, multi-component aquatic facility, three gymnasiums, two NHL-sized arenas, community library, community meeting rooms and offices, pro shop, medicine clinic, child-care services and food service facilities. |
